Some hospitals and imaging centers are outsourcing their graphics work to companies like Q3D, which receives files directly from the CT scanner, performs the 3D post-processing, and returns the graphics files to the radiologist to review. The service saves time for physicians and also saves them from having to invest in costly equipment.
